Bringing a Vision to Life
Saloni grew up witnessing the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in her community, struggling to navigate urban life and use everyday technology. This inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at Delhi Technological University, where she aims to create equitable tech solutions that improve accessibility.
As a Dell Aspire Scholar, Saloni benefits from tuition and housing support, allowing her to save valuable time on her daily commute. She plans to use this time to deepen her studies and engage in projects that make a difference for those she seeks to serve.
From Aspiration to Achievement
The Dell Aspire Scholars program is designed to support high-potential students like Saloni who are dedicated to professional achievement and community leadership. This program offers tailored assistance aligned with each student’s career goals, providing scholarships for tuition and accommodation, a laptop, career coaching, and one-on-one mentorship.
Currently available to students at Delhi Technological University and Hansraj College at Delhi University, the program connects participants to a global network of over 14,000 students and alumni, including Dell Scholars in the U.S. and Dell Young Leaders in South Africa.
A Pathway to Professional Success
The program is built on insights from students about their aspirations and from employers regarding the skills they seek in young professionals. By 2035, Dell Aspire Scholars aims to support over 1,000 students on their journeys to becoming industry leaders and community role models, inspiring others to follow their dreams.
